It really is. This moment, this one, right now, is perfect.
Perfect is a word I use all the time but I don’t really like. It doesn’t have a real definition. Perfect is something that everything is, always, already, so striving for perfection is ridiculous. It’s not even possible to strive for something that we already are. Yet we do, all the time.
You are perfect. You, right now, right wherever you are, are perfect.
You’re in the place, you made the choice, you’re doing the thing, you’re perfect.
And this is where I’ll start. The perfect place to start.
10 years ago I was a wild and wandering soul determined to prove to myself and the rest of the world that you can do things differently, that you don’t have to follow the normal way of living, that you can be YOU and make a living and live a LIFE, and that’s where my journey of Epic BEcoming started.
Today, let’s be Epic.
Journal with Me: Take some moments to contemplate the word “Perfect,” and write down whatever comes. Here are some prompts:
- What do you strive to be perfect at?
- Who do you strive to be perfect around?
- Did you ever care about perfection?
- Were/are you more of a rebel or perfectionist?
- What would your perfect life look like?
- How would you feel if that perfect life was solid reality right now?
